'Sweet Dream', under the command of Captain Bobby McGuinness, is a 28 ft. Pursuit, powered by a single Cummins diesel.
Captain Bobby McGuinness was selected the World's Best Captain of 2006 by the prestigious International Game Fish Association (IGFA) for setting more IGFA-certified world records that year than any other captain. Captain Bobby McGuinness holds over 150 IGFA-certified world records in offshore and inshore sport fishing.

The "Muy Caliente" is a 31' bertram. It was completely refurbished in 2006. New engines,electronics,interior,outriggers the list goes on. We are confident that you will agree it is the finest 31' vessel you will find in all of Costa Rica!
The "Muy Caliente" is equipped with the latest electronics: digital "hi-def" fish finder ,"waas" gps and two vhf's. We use only the finest tackle: Accurate,Shimano and Penn International. We also have the experienced crew to match.

This sportfishing vessel is rigged for tournament class deep-sea fishing in Costa Rica. Our equipment includes a fighting chair, transom door for your large Marlin & Tuna catch, outriggers, live well, the latest electronics, a full cabin and head, very good cover from the sun and a large open air salon.
Our fishing tackle includes famous brand names like Penn International and Shimano [heavy & light]. C-Tales Costa Rica sportfishing charters can be your guide to the finest deep-sea sportfishing with the crew and boat to make sportsfishing dreams come true.
C-Tales sportfishing charter guides use bait & switch techniques by trolling artificial baits. Conventional tackle is provided; however, fly fishermen need to bring their own fly fishing tackle for fly fishing in Costa Rica. We practice catch & release for big game Sailfish & Marlin. The option of bringing home Dorado, Tuna, Snapper, and other sport fish for snacks is up to the fishermen. |

The Rosa Maria 28' Bertram with new twin Yanmar diesels, is a new addition to the Sportfishing Golfito fleet. It is equiped with the lastest electronics and penn tackle.
“Thums Up” and the “Rosa Maria” are outfitted with the latest in Furuno electronics; IGFA approved Shimano fishing tackle, Lee outriggers, cockpit live well, downrigger system and tuna tubes.
We fish primarily live bait, but we do carry an assortment of Black Bart, Bob Schneider, Marlin Magic and Moldcraft lures! The fishing is generally bait and switch. We can accommodate what ever style you wish. We especially like to cater to the fly fisherman! But we ask, that fly fisherman and world record seekers bring your own gear with you! |
