All of these vessels are operated by English speaking captains. Each boat is equipped with tournament quality conventional tackle, and all prices include a box lunch & beverages, fishing licenses, bait & lures, ice.

We offer 1 to 4 person packages as well as larger sport boats for your custom package needs or for your overnight trips to Drakes Bay, Cano Island, Furuno Bank & Panama's renowned Hannibal Bank & Cohiba Island. The "Muy Caliente" is a 31' bertram. It was completely refurbished in 2006. New engines,electronics,interior,outriggers the list goes on. We are confident that you will agree it is the finest 31' vessel you will find in all of Costa Rica!

The "Muy Caliente" is equipped with the latest electronics: digital "hi-def" fish finder ,"waas" gps and two vhf's. We use only the finest tackle: Accurate, Shimano and Penn International. We also have the experienced crew to match. 

The "Incommunicado" is also 31'; it is a Bertram's "Sportfish" design.   The design allows for more comfortable seating and shade.  The "Incommunicado" is fully equipped with the latest electronics and finest tackle: Accurate, Shimano & Penn International.

These two 31' Bertrams have the fish raising capability and maneuverability coupled with two of the best Costa Rican Captains and quality tackle.  The odds will be in your favor for the sportfishing trip of a lifetime.

The "Cazador" is a 37' Merritt Sportfisherman powered by twin 450hp Cummins diesels and is equipped with the latest in electronics (GPS Chart Link, Color Video Sounder, Radar, VHF radio). U.S.C.G. Safety Equipment, ice well, Tuna Tubes, Fighting Chair, Penn International and Shimano reels with IGFA custom built rods and Penn Spinning Reels and Rods.

This boat was built considering the anglers' wishes, and offer equipment that would provide comfort and safety to fish the full spectrum of species year-round.

FISH WITH THE IGFA WORLD'S BEST CAPTAIN OF 2006: Captain Bobby McGuinness, holder of over 150 IGFA-certified world records in offshore and inshore sport fishing.

The "Rosa Maria" 28' Bertram with new twin Yanmar diesels, is a new addition to the Sportfishing Golfito fleet. It is equiped with the lastest electronics and Penn tackle.  "Rosa Maria'" is outfitted with the latest in Furuno electronics; IGFA approved Shimano fishing tackle, Lee outriggers, cockpit live well, downrigger system and tuna tubes.

We fish primarily live bait, but we do carry an assortment of Black Bart, Bob Schneider, Marlin Magic and Moldcraft lures! The fishing is generally bait and switch. We can accommodate what ever style you wish. We especially like to cater to the fly fisherman! But we ask, that fly fisherman and world record seekers bring your own gear with you!  

"Luna Sea II" is a 30' Chris Craft captained by John Brennan.  Capt. John Brennan was nominated for "Captain of the Year" in 2007  & 2008 by "In the Bite" magazine.
