Directions by land:
Whether traveling from the North or the South, take the Interamerican Highway to a town called Rio Claro which is located between Cuidad Neily in the south and Palmar Norte to the north. In Rio Claro look for signs indicating Golfito and continue along that road into town. We are located in Kilometer 2 and from the street, the most prominent feature is the bayside yellow buildings.

From the open sea the most prominent point is Cabo Matapalo (Matapalo Cape) which is a steeply inclined point marking the tip of the Osa Peninsula and the entrance to the Golfo Dulce. Upon entering Golfito Bay, radio us (VHF 16 & 12) and we will assist you.

Look for the bouy that marks the entrance to Golfito bay. Our sketch chart indicates major points of reference as you navigate your way down to us. Our main building which is visible from the bay is bright yellow.
Directions by air:
Golfito is served by two major commuter airlines with several regularly scheduled flights daily to San Jose, Costa Rica's capital city. Flying time is about 45 minutes.
