'Jodari'
under the command of Captain Mike Hennessy, is a 28 ft. Carolina
Classic, powered by twin Cummins diesels.
Our homeport is Puerto Jimenez, a small town at the Northeast tip
of the Peninsula de Osa in the South of Costa Rica. Puerto Jimenez,
with its landing strip for prop planes and its pier, is considered
the center of the peninsula that is surrounded by the Golfo Dulce
on one side and the Pacific Ocean on the other.
The Peninsula de Osa itself is known as one of the biologically
most intricate and most precious landscapes in the world according
to coverage in National Geographic. The last lowlands rain forest
of Central America provides a habitat for hundreds of bird and reptile
species as well as for the continent's assortment of wild cats.
The Corcovado National Park, which safeguards the continued existence
of this natural paradise, occupies the major part of the Peninsula
de Osa.

'C-Tales' under the command of Captain Chuck Tilton, is a 30 ft.
Island Hopper, powered by a single Cummins diesel.
This sportfishing vessel is rigged for tournament class deep-sea
fishing in Costa Rica. Our equipment includes a fighting chair,
transom door for your large Marlin & Tuna catch, outriggers,
live well, the latest electronics, a full cabin and head, very good
cover from the sun and a large open air salon.
Our fishing tackle includes famous brand names like Penn International
and Shimano [heavy & light]. C-Tales Costa Rica sportfishing
charters can be your guide to the finest deep-sea sportfishing with
the crew and boat to make sportsfishing dreams come true.
C-Tales sportfishing charter guides use bait & switch techniques
by trolling artificial baits. Conventional tackle is provided; however,
fly fishermen need to bring their own fly fishing tackle for fly
fishing in Costa Rica. We practice catch & release for big game
Sailfish & Marlin. The option of bringing home Dorado, Tuna,
Snapper, and other sport fish for snacks is up to the fishermen. |
